다문화 사회에서의 학교 교육과정 정책 = School Curriculum Policy in Multicultural Society

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The concept ``multicultural society`` can be defiened in the light of ``identity``. In the course of our life we form and reform our identity, and various-and-dominent factors influence on the process. Multicultural society means that the factors are more various and some factors are newly focused. According to many scholars in the field of multicultural education, ethnics and race, class, residence, speciality, religion, language, and sex are included the factors. When we accept this definition of multicultural society, multicultural education is an activity that gives an ``equal`` education regardless of ethnics and race, class, residence, speciality, religion, language and sex, that assists the formation one`s healthy identity as a social member. Recent times, various educational policies and programmes have been developed for teachers and students in Korea.
