한국판 청소년 정서결핍 척도(K-ICU)의 타당화 연구 = Validation study for Inventory of Korea Callous-Unemotional traits with Korean Adolescents

Many previous studies suggest that CU(Callous-Unemotional) traits foretell the juvenile delinquency problems and the antisocial personality disorder of adults. In this study, ICU(Inventory of Callous-Unemotional Traits) - a self report evaluation scale which measures CU traits - has been translated into Korean language and validated by surveying junior high school students. ICU, the antisocial personality disorder subtype of the adolescent version of the Korean Personality Disorders Test for Self Report, anxiety(ANX), hyperactivity(HPR), delinquency(DLQ) subtypes of Korea Adolescent Personality Inventory for Self Report, and JTCI(Junior Temperament and Character Inventory) have been carried out to 325 (male 163, female 162) students of age 14-15. Reliability and the correlation between Korean version of ICU and related factors have been examined using SPSS. The factor analysis has also been carried out. Cronbach'α of Korean ICU was .732. As a result of exploratory factor analysis, 3 factors(callousness, uncaring, unemotional) have been drawn, which is almost same as the original version. ASPD of KPDT, Novelty Seeking of TCI, DLQ and HPR of KAPI showed positive correlation with ICU. Reward Dependence and Persistence showed negative correlation with ICU. Korean ICU has been validated by examining the internal coherency of test and the correlation with related factors. In future research, it is necessary to prove that CU traits is maintained stably for Korean adolescents by applying it to various age groups and conduct disorder or oppositional defiant disorder and by longitudinal study.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

정신병질은 대인관계, 정서, 행동의 세 측면에서 주로 논의되는데, 그 중 정서적 특성이 특히 중요하게 다루어 져 왔다. 냉담하고 비정서적인 정신병질적 정서특성을 CU특질(Callous-Unemotional traits)이라 하며, CU특질은 청 소년의 품행문제 및 반사회성 성격장애, 범죄와 비행행동 등과 밀접한 관련을 가지는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 본 연구는 CU특질을 측정하는 청소년용 자기보고식 도구인 Inventory of Callous-Unemotional traits(ICU)를 한국어로 번 안하고 중학생들을 대상으로 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하기 위한 연구이다. 연구 참가 청소년(N=346명)에게 이 척도와 함께 준거타당도 검증을 위해청소년용 성격장애 진단검사 반사회성 소척도, JTCI의 기질 척도, 한국 청 소년 성격검사의 불안, 비행문제, 과잉행동 소척도를 실시하였다. 한국어로 번안된 원척도 24문항에 대한 신뢰 도 분석 결과 척도의 내적 일치도 계수(Cronbach’α)는 .73으로 나타났다. 요인분석을 실시한 결과 ‘냉담성’, ‘부주 의/무신경’, ‘감정표현 결여’의 3요인이 도출되었으며, 세 요인의 문항 구성은 선행연구와 유사하였다. 각 하위요 인은 전체 척도와 유의한 정적 상관을 보였으며 각 요인들 간에는 약하지만 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 준 거타당도 검증 결과 한국판 ICU는 청소년용 성격장애 진단검사의 반사회성 소척도, JTCI의 자극 추구 기질, 한 국 청소년 성격검사의 비행 및 과잉행동 소척도와 정적 상관을 보였으며, JTCI의 사회적 민감성 및 인내력 기 질과는 부적 상관을 나타냈다. 본 결과를 통해 24문항으로 구성된 한국판 ICU가 신뢰롭고 타당한 도구일 가능 성이 시사되었다. 본 연구의 제한점을 논의하였으며, 더 다양한 집단과 관련변인을 포함하는 추후연구를 통해 본 연구의 결과를 재검증하고 확장해야 함을 제안하였다.
