Mind Map을 활용한 실과 학습활동이 초등학생의 창의성 발달에 미치는 영향 = Effects of Practical Arts Learning Activities through Mind Map on Elementary School Students' Creativity

This study was carried out to find out effects Mind Map method applied to the Practical Arts learning on Children's scientific creativity and its subordinate levels.As the result is as follows ; (1) According to this study, the application of the Mind Map method to Practical Arts education turns out to make statistically meaningful difference in improving elementary school students' creativity.(2) The Mind Map method did not make a statistically meaningful difference in improving openness.(3) The Mind Map method did make a statistically meaningful difference in improving fluency. (4) The Mind Map method and traditional teaching methods did make a statistically meaningful difference in improving flexibility.(5) The Mind Map method did not make a statistically meaningful difference in improving originality.In conclusion, the application of the Mind Map method to Practical Arts education increased student's scientific creativity, although it slightly affected their creative thoughts and activities. Especially, the method turns out to be very effective in improving their fluency.
