교육컨설팅의 학문적 정립에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Academicization of Education Consulting

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 국내 교육컨설팅학의 학문 정립을 통해 교육컨설팅학의 발전 방향을 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 교육컨설팅학의 태동과 현황 및 국내 교육컨설팅학의 학문적 정립을 위한 과제를 확인하였다.
국내 대학원의 교육컨설팅학과와 교육컨설팅전공은 2012년 3월 동덕여자대학교 교육대학원에 교육컨설팅전공 석사과정이 처음으로 개설되었다. 국내 대학원 3곳의 일반대학원 석사과정과 박사과정 및 국내 교육대학원 9곳의 석사과정에 교육컨설팅학과와 교육컨설팅전공이 개설되어 있었다. 교육컨설팅학의 독립된 전문학회인 한국교육컨설팅코칭학회는 2017년 6월 창립되었고, 한국교육컨설팅코칭학회의 전문학술지인 교육컨설팅코칭연구는 2022년 1월 한국연구재단의 등재학술지로 선정되었다. 교육컨설팅학의 학문적 정립을 위해 교육컨설팅학의 연구 대상과 연구 영역 확립, 이론과 연구 방법 확립, 국내 대학과 대학원의 교육컨설팅학과와 교육컨설팅전공 설치의 확대, 교육컨설팅학 관련 전문학회와 전문학술지의 확대를 제시하였다.
본 연구는 교육컨설팅학의 연구 대상, 이론, 연구 방법, 대학원의 석사과정과 박사과정 개설, 전문학회의 설립과 전문학술지의 발행 등을 통해 교육컨설팅학의 학문적 정립에 관하여 연구한 최초의 논문으로 교육컨설팅학 학문 정립을 위한 기초연구로서의 의의를 지닌다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to suggest the direction of development of education consulting through the establishment of education consulting as a discipline. This study examined the origins and current status of education consulting and the challenges for establishing education consulting as a discipline.
The Korean graduate schools, domestic academic institutions, were the starting point of education consulting in the world. In March 2012, the first master's program in education consulting was opened at Dongduk Women's University Graduate School of Education. The Department of Education Consulting and the Major in Education Consulting have been established in the master's and doctoral programs of three Korean graduate schools and in the master's programs of nine Korean graduate schools of education. The Korea Association of Education Consulting and Coaching, a professional society of education consulting, was founded in June 2017, and its professional journal, the Journal of Education Consulting and Coaching, was selected as a KCI accredited journal of the National Research Foundation of Korea in January 2022. In order to establish education consulting as an academic discipline, this study proposed to establish research objects and research areas of education consulting, establish theories and research methods, expand the establishment of education consulting departments and education consulting majors in Korean universities and graduate schools, and expand professional societies and professional journals related to education consulting.
This study is the first paper to study the academic establishment of education consulting through the research objects, theories, and research methods of education consulting, the establishment of master's and doctoral programs in graduate schools, the establishment of professional societies, and the publication of professional journals, and has significance as a basic study for the academic establishment of education consulting.
