행동활성화 체계와 유튜브 과의존 경향성의 관계에서 인지적 유연성과 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 이중매개효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 행동활성화체계와 유튜브 과의존 경향성과의 관계에서 인지적 유연성과 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 만 18세∼28세의 국내 대학생 250명을 대상으로 대학생용 유튜브 과의존 척도, 행동활성화체계 척도, 인지적 유연성 척도, 적응적 인지적정서조절전략 척도를 온라인 설문 조사로 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 행동활성화체계, 유튜브 과의존 경향성, 인지적 유연성, 적응적 인지적정서조절전략의 상관분석결과 모든 변인간에 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 행동활성화체계와 유튜브 과의존 경향성과의 관계에서 인지적 유연성의 매개효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 행동활성화체계와 유튜브 과의존 경향성과의 관계에서 적응적 인지적정서조절전략의 매개효과가 나타났다. 넷째, 행동활성화체계와 유튜브 과의존 경향성과의 관계에서 인지적 유연성과 적응적 인지적정서조절전략의 이중매개효과가 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 인지적 유연성과 적응적 인지적정서조절전략이 행동활성화체계의 활성화가 유튜브 과의존에 미치는 영향을 유의하게 낮춰주는 보호 요인으로 작용하는 것을 의미한다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과의 의의와 제한점, 후속연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to confirm the mediating effect of cognitive flexibility and adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies in the relationship between the behavioral activation system and the tendency to depend on YouTube. To this end, an online survey was conducted on 250 domestic college students aged 18 to 28 years old with a YouTube overdependence scale for college students(YOS), Korean-behavioral activation system scale(K-BAS), a cognitive flexibility scale(CFI), and an adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategy scale(CERQ). The main results of this study are summarized as follows. First, as a result of correlation analysis between the behavioral activation system, the tendency to depend on YouTube, cognitive flexibility, and adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies, significant correlations were found between all variables. Second, there was a mediating effect of cognitive flexibility in the relationship between the behavioral activation system and the tendency to depend on YouTube. Third, the mediating effect of the adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategy appeared in the relationship between the behavioral activation system and the tendency to depend on YouTube. Fourth, in the relationship between the behavioral activation system and the tendency to depend on YouTube, the dual mediating effect of cognitive flexibility and adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies was found. These findings imply that cognitive flexibility and adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies act as protective factors that significantly reduce the effect of activation of the behavioral activation system on YouTube overdependence. Finally, the limitations and significance of the results of this study, and suggestions for follow-up studies were made.
