Multi-residue analytical method for determination of 82 pesticides in livestock products (beef, pork, chicken, milk, egg and fat) was developed using quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe (QuEChERS) method and analyzed by gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS). To determine multi-residue in livestock products, residual pesticides were extracted with acetonitrile followed by addition of anhydrous magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) and sodium chloride (NaCl). Then, the extracts were cleaned up using MgSO4, octadecyl (C18) and primary secondary amine (PSA). To verify the applicability of the developed method, selectivity, linearity, accuracy, precision, limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) was evaluated. The coefficient of determination (R2) was above 0.98 within the concentration range from 2.5 to 100 μg/L. The average recoveries were most in the range of 70∼120% and standard deviation values were less than 32%, which is satisfied the Codex guideline (CODEX CAC/GL 40). These results suggest that the developed method can be applied to the real market livestock products successfully. Therefore, the developed method is suitable and could be included in the Korean Food Code for enabling the safety management of pesticides.
