스트레스와 대처자원 사정도구로서의 빗속의 사람 그림의 활용

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중․고등학생을 대상으로 빗속의 사람그림(Draw-a-Person-in-the-Rain: DAPR)검사와 표준화된 정신건강검사를 실시하여 청소년들의 정신건강 상태에 따라 DAPR의 반응특성의 차이를 알아보고, DAPR 검사가 청소년들의 정신건강 상태를 변별하는 도구로 활용할 수 있는 지를 밝히고자 하였다. 연구대상은 중 고등학교 6개교 학생 397명을 층화군집표집하였으며, 연구도구로는 DAPR검사와 정신건강검사(Mental Health Inventory)를 사용하였다. DAPR의 채점항목에는 스트레스 지표, 대처자원 지표, 색상관련지표, 이야기내용 지표를 포함시켰으며, 채점기준은 정도를 파악하는 지표의 경우는 정도에 따라 3점체계로, 유무척도는 2점체계로 구성하였다. 자료분석은 DAPR의 신뢰도를 알아보기 위하여 미술치료대학원생 2명이 동일그림 50점을 채점하여 채점자간 일치도를 구하였으며, 채점자내 일치도는 1개월 간격으로 채점하여 일치도를 구하였다. 자료분석은 첫째, 정신건강 유형에 따라 DAPR의 스트레스지표, 대처자원지표, 색상지표, 이야기내용지표에서 차이가 있는 지 알아보기 위하여 교차분석을 실시하였으며, 둘째, 정신건강유형을 두 집단(낮은 정신건강집단, 높은 정신건강 집단)으로 분류하고 DAPR의 변인을 판별변인으로 하여 판별분석(Discriminant Analysis)을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정신건강유형에 따라 스트레스 지표의 비모양, 비와 사람의 접촉, 웅덩이와 사람접촉 변인에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 대처요인지표에서는 우산유무, 우의유무, 간접보호물유무, 얼굴표정변인이, 색상지표의 채색의 안정성, 색상수, 그리고 이야기내용 변인에서 정신건강유형에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, DAPR의 변인을 판별변인으로 하고 정신건강유형을 분류변인으로 하여 판별분석을 실시한 결과 비모양, 비와 사람접촉, 우산유무, 우의유무, 얼굴표정, 신체완전성, 이야기내용변인에서 차이가 있었다. DAPR 변인 중 ‘그림에 대한 이야기’ 변인이 .696으로 가장 영향력이 높은 변인으로 나타났으며, 다음으로 비모양, 얼굴표정, 우의유무순으로 나타났다. 이 변수들의 판별력은 73.2%로 나타났으며, 높은 정신건강 집단은 72.0%, 낮은 정신건강 집단은 74.0%를 예측하고 있다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통하여 빗속의 사람그림검사는 학교장면에서 정서적으로 취약한 학생을 변별할 수 있는 유용한 자료로 활용될 수 있음이 확인되었으며, 나아가 이 학생들의 상담 및 치료적 개입을 위한 중요한 자료로 가치가 있을 것이라고 생각된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study explored the potential of the Draw-a-Person-in-the-Rain(DAPR) as a tool to measure the mental health of adolescents by investigating the relationship between the mental health of middle and high school students and their drawings on the Draw-a-Person-in-the-Rain (DAPR) test. The study participants were 397 students attending 6 middle and high schools. They were selected by stratified cluster sampling. The instruments for the study included the DAPR and Mental Health Inventory (MHI). DAPR had four indexes: stress, coping resource, color, and story contents. The index to analyze the degree was scored on a scale of 1 to 3 while the index to determine the existence was scored on a scale of 1 to 2.
Two graduate students of art therapy scored the same 50 drawings to check the inter-rater reliability. For intra-rater reliability, the drawings were scored with an interval of one month. A cross tabulation was used to determine any significant differences between the mental health and the four indexes. The participants were assigned to a group with high mental health and a group with low mental health. The two groups were analyzed based on a discriminant analysis with DARP results as the discriminant variable. The results of this study were as follows.
