유아교육기관-부모연계를 통한 평화역량 프로그램 개발·적용이 유아의 갈등인식 및 해결에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Children’s Conflict Cognition and Resolution Ability on Young Children’s Peace Competence Education Program for Early Childhood Educational Institutions Connected with Parents

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 평화역량 증진을 위해 유아교육기관과 부모연계를 통한 평화역량 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하여 유아의 갈등인식 및 갈등해결에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해 서울시에 소재한 Y유치원과 S유치원, C유치원 3곳에 재원중인 만 5세로 실험집단과 비교집단, 통제집단 유아 각 24명, 26명, 24명씩 총 74명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 유아교육기관과 부모연계 평화역량 프로그램이 유아의 갈등원인 인식에 유의미한 차이가 있는지를 알아본 결과 유아교육기관과 부모연계 평화역량 프로그램을 실시한 실험집단과 유아교육기관에서만 평화교육을 실시한 비교집단, 그리고 2007 개정 유치원교육과정을 실시한 통제집단사이에 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 유아교육기관과 부모연계 평화역량 프로그램이 유아의 갈등해결에 미치는 효과를 알아본 결과 갈등해결에 있어서는 실험집단의 점수가 비교집단과 통제집단에 비해 평균점수가 높게 나타났으며 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 이는 갈등 인식은 유아의 인지발달 및 사회화 수준에 기초하기 때문에 심리학적 관계 속에서만 이루어질 수 없으며 사회화 개념에 대한 인지적인 측면의 재고가 함께 이루어져야 함을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to prove the effects of children's conflict cognition and resolution ability on the peace competence education program for early childhood educational Institutions connected with parents. The subjects for this study consisted of 74 Korean kindergarten children(experimental group, 24; compare group 26; control group, 24). The instruments used in this study were Peace Conflict Resolution Scale for Young children. The statistical analyses related to the were conducted with ANOVA and Schéffe by using SPSS 18.0. The findings of this study were as follows: 1. What is the structure of young children’s peace competence program connected with home? First, the goal of this program was to improve children’s conflict cognition and resolution ability. Second, young children’s peace competence program consisted of peace and conflict. There are self-esteem, respect for other people, open-mindedness, cooperation, communication and nonviolence. Third, the teaching methods are direct instruction, discussion, deduction and modeling. Fourth, the evaluations of young children’s peace competence education program are children’s conflict cognition and resolution ability. Fifth, the model of young children’s peace competence education program is triangular pyramid. 2. What are the effects of young children’s conflict cognition and resolution ability on the peace competence program connected with home? First, as for the test results of children’s conflict cognition, there was no statistically significant difference in children’s conflict cognition between the experiment group, compare group and control group. Second, as for the test results of children’s resolution ability, there was a statistically significant difference in children’s conflict cognition between the experiment group, compare group and control group.
