바흐친의 대화주의 이론과 담화분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 일차적으로는 바흐친의 대화주의 이론과 담화분석이나 화용론 등에서 행해진 현대 담화 연구의 성과물들의 핵심 쟁점들을 이론적으로 검토해 보고자 하였다. 특히 말하는 주체와 의사소통의 상호작용성, 언어 사용의 사회 문화적 맥락 등에 주목하면서 의사소통하는 존재로서 인간의 언어 사용을 재 조명하고자 하였던 현대 언어학의 주요 흐름들을 바흐친의 대화주의 언어학의 주요한 주제들과 함께 검토해보았다. 이러한 이론적 정리 작업 후 우리는 대화주의와 담화 이론등에서 나온 담화의 의미 구성과 해석에 관한 다양한 제안들이 실제 우리의 구어 및 문어 의사소통 생활에서 도출된 말뭉치 자료들을 분석할 때 유용한 개념들이 될 수 있는가를 적용해보았다. 본 연구 과제를 통한 이론적 검토 및 자료 수집의 결과물들은 궁극적으로 '언어학 개론' 과 같은 교양 입문 성격의 대학 강의 등에서 활용될 수 있는 교재 개발을 목표로 하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is to examine the dialogism proposed by Mikhail Bakhtine(1895-1975), a Russian linguist. Bakhtine is emerging as one of the leading thinkers of the twentieth century. Especially researchers in the field of pregmatics and discourse analysis started to study his dialogism as one of the most important theories of the speech aspect of language like Austin, Grice and Benvenist.
This research contain two dimensions mainly. First we attempted to explore the central preoccupation of the dialogism about language's social dimension. Also we explored how the main concepts of dialogism can be useful as a tool for discourse analysis of our daily communication. Studying two sides of dialogism (theoretically and practically) can take us into the elaboration of text book that can be used at the university.
