다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

The purpose of this dissertation is to study phonological processes in Literary Arabic (LA) and Colloquial Arabic(CA).
Arabic which belongs to the Semitic Languages has a diglossia structure- Literary and colloquial Arabic. LA is the standard and written language, while CA is the oral language used in dialects of man? areas and hasn't been written in letters except in modern novels of the recent days.
In this dissertation, 1 attempted to describe the phonological processes in the LA and CA. The phonological processes include not only the processes within LA and CA respectively but also the processes from LA into CA. CA in this dissertation means the Cairone dialect in chief, and other dialects are included if needed.
Phonological processes in LA, CA and from LA into CA are examined in aspects of phonemic system(consonant, vowel, syllable and stress) and the types of phonological processes(assimilation, dissimilation, /i/-vocalization, epenthesis, vowel-lengthening, deletion, shortening and metathesis), in which the following are found :
      (1) In LA the number of consonant (28 phonems) outnumbers that of vowels (basically 3 phonemes) and so consonants have more Importance than vowels in lexical distinction. In CA while some consonants (chiefly interdentals and glottal stop) disappeared, the number of vowel was increased (in Cairene dialect 10 phonemes and in others 18 in maximum).
      (2) The delection of weak consonants /w/, /y/ and / / is one of the properties In LA and CA.
      (3) In CA /i/-vocalization Is widespread.
      (4) In CA the emphatic consonants appear more than those in LA(not as phonemes but as allophones).
      (5) CA has vowel-lengthening and vowel-shortening in reverse direction as in LA and variations in the timbre of vowels.
In conclusion the fact was found that the phonological processes in Arabic are more systematic and morphophonemically regular than those in and other languages.
