초등학생의 학업성취와 삶의 만족의 종단적 관계 = Testing the Autoregressive Cross-lagged Effects between Children`s Academic Achievement and Life Satisfaction

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the longitudinal reciprocal relationship between children`s academic achievement and life satisfaction. This study used the panel data of elementary school children`s academic achievement and life satisfaction that were collected from 2004 to 2006 by National Youth Policy Institute of Korea. Autoregressive cross-lagged modeling was performed to test the longitudinal reciprocal relationship between children`s academic achievement and life satisfaction. Results showed that children`s academic achievement predicted subsequent life satisfaction, over and above the effect of previous life satisfaction, and also life satisfaction predicted subsequent children`s academic achievement. Thus, to help children increase academic achievement may be important in the prevention program and counseling process with children to increase their life satisfaction.
