싱가폴의 리모델링 사례연구 = Case study about Apartment Remodeling of Singapore

The most popular housing type is high-rise apartment in Korea. High-rise apartments have been built over twenty-years and the deteriorated high-rise apartments are making a social problem in now a days. To solve this problem, a new alternative plan for deteriorated high-rise apartments such as the remodeling concept must be considered. This purpose of this study is to review multi-family housing remodeling cases in Singapore which has been developed with nationwide strong, strategies for remodeling, the upgrading program, MUP.
Through the visiting Housing Development Board(HDB), field case study and document review were used for this study.
Through the case study about Singapore, the remodeling background, working scope, remodeling costs, upgrading items and management schemes were analysed. This will provide the guideline for future multi-family housing remodeling in Korea.
