Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends of research related to Individualized Transition Plan (ITP) for students with disabilities and to suggest implications.
Design/methodology/data/approach: For this study, 36 papers in domestic journals were selected according to the selection and exclusion criteria for analysis target papers. And research trends were analyzed based on journals, publication year, keywords, research methods, and detailed analysis criteria.
Findings/Results: As a results of the study, ITP-related research decreased after 2014, but increased in 2021. As a research method, literature review and survey studies accounted of a high proportion, while qualitative studies and experimental studies were poor.
Value: Based on these results, it is suggested that future research related to ITP needs to be expanded to various subjects and target, and in particular, qualitative and experimental studies centered on the educational field should be actively conducted.
