    Computer using is increased rapidly in the fields of education with the progressing information era. Indivisual instruction is more executable by proper using computer system which contains many various kinds of educational engineering capability. In CAI, learning is progressed through only CRT display unit of computer system and so coursewares must be interesting and instructional to learners, and keeping good qualities in courseware is also very important. However, under the circumstance that no recommendable authoring tools exist, it is hard to expect for a teacher, if he is not an expert at computer, to write a good courseware and to use it effectively. Many CAI logic frames designed well by CAI experts may be provided teachers to write CAI coursewares without knowledge of computer language. In this paper, we proposed a CAI model for inquiry learning in elementary science in order to help a teacher, who being not trained handling computer system, to write CAI coursewares and to save time, expenses and efforts in developing them. It is expecially for 『molecular』 part of elementary science in 6th grade in primary school. In this paper, all the text files are written with 한글 word-processor ver 1. 51 and image data are processed by image 72, a sort of graphic packages. some knowledge bases are structured for CAI. From this study, we obtain some results as the following; 1. A CAI model for inquiry learning in elementary science is made. 2. The model enables to save time, efforts and expenses in authoring CAI coursewares. 3. It does not need to learn the high level programming language for authoring. 4. It will provide much opportunity to expand CAI technics in education.
