The purpose of this study is to find out the Korean travelers` tipping behaviors in Korean restaurants and the relationship between service quality and tipping. behaviors. The study found that a service employee`s kindness with a sincere smile in delivering service was one of main reason for tipping and customers` intention to tipping was positively related to the frequency of outbound travel. The study also found that service factors, friendliness of a server, speed of service, and attentiveness during the service were positively related to the customers` awareness of service quality and their tipping intentions.
