近代启蒙期韩国杂志对梁启超作品的译介研究 = A Study of the Translation and Introduction of Liang Qichao's Works in Modern Enlightenment Period Korean Magazines

During the modern enlightenment period in Korea, magazines played a pivotal role as a medium in the widespread translation and dissemination of Liang Qichao's works. A review of the translations of Liang Qichao's works in Korean magazines from this period has revealed 34 translated works in a mixed Korean-Chinese style across 10 magazines. These translations were predominantly published in political and academic society magazines, with the primary academic fields being sociology, economics, and pedagogy. An investigation into the characteristics of these translations reveals that the translators generally conveyed positive evaluations of Liang Qichao's enlightenment thought and writing style. The predominant method of translation was literal, supplemented by interpretative translation. This differs from the excerpt-based translations commonly found in contemporary Korean newspapers; most translations in magazines were complete works. Many translators explicitly expressed their intentions within the translations, reflecting an instrumental understanding of the translation process.
