This Study is to estimate the stand yield in future base on the mensuration of the volume growth in the last 10 years.
Surveying district is the second block (20.80ha) of Kyung Hee university experiment forest on the Gaegok-ri, Gapyung-yeup. Gapyung-gun, Kyung gi province.
The stand is composed of mainly the Japanese red pine and oak tree processing the survey of stands was conducted by taking the core at the D.B.H. of the sampling tree, which was selected by the simple random sampling.
The results are as following.
1. The regression between the diameter and diameter increment:
1) Japanese red pine I^=0.6934-0.0050D
2) oak tree I^=0.3528+0.0153D
2. The estimated regression of confidence interval of the diameter increment:
1) Japanese red pine S^(2)I^=0.01856(0.31550-0.02734D+0.00068D^(2))
2) oak tree S^(2)I^=0.01254(0.18251-0.02154D+0.00071D^(2))
3. Annual increment volume in the Japanese red pine stand is 4.6788㎥/ha and the oak tree stand 4.0980㎥/ha and Its effective range are 5.1939∼4.1599 ㎥ of Japanese red pine and 4.3878∼33.8002㎥ of oak tree stand.
