역사 교수법의 의미와 역사다운 교수법의 필요성 = The meaning of history teaching methods and history teaching methods for disciplinary literacy in history

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Objectives In this study, the meaning of history teaching method suggested in domestic history education research was reviewed and the necessity and direction of history teaching method was presented. Methods The meaning and perspectives of history teaching method by reviewing domestic and foreign research results since the 1970s, history teaching methods and classification criteria presented in the domestic history education community, and problems caused by formal understanding or mechanical application were analyzed. Results As a result of this analysis, reflections were drawn in the application and issues of history teaching methods. And history teaching methods for disciplinary literacy in History were suggested. Conclusions The method of teaching history should be consistent with the history teacher s own history education purpose or history lesson goal, and the method of history research is taught.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목적 본 연구에서는 국내 역사교육 연구에서 제시되어 온 역사 교수법의 의미를 검토하고 역사다운 역사 교수법의 필요성과 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 이때 역사다운 교수법이란, 역사의 성질이나 특성을 반영하는 교수법을 뜻한다. 방법 먼저 교수와 학습의 관계, 역사 교수법의 의미와 이를 바라보는 관점들을 이론적으로 검토하고 구분하였다. 이후 1970년대 이래 국내 역사교육 개설서와 국내외 관련 연구 결과를 분석하여 국내 역사교육계에서 제시되어 온 역사 교수법의 분류를 검토하고, 이에 대한 형식적 이해나 기계적 적용이 낳는 문제들을 제기하였다. 결과 이와 같은 분석의 결과로 역사 교수법의 적용상 유의점들을 도출하였고, 역사를 역사답게 가르치고자 하는 교사가 역사수업을 통해 학생의 삶과 성장에 기여하고자 할 때 고려할 필요가 있는 역사 교수법을 세 가지로 제시하였다. 결론 이를 통해 본 연구는 역사를 가르치는 방법을 선정할 때 역사답게 가르치기 위해 고려해야 할 점으로, 역사를 가르치는 방법이 역사교사 자신의 역사교육 목적 또는 역사수업 목표와 일관성을 가져야 할 필요성과 역사 연구의 방법을 가르칠 필요성을 제기하면서 역사 문서 읽기와 맥락화 교수학습을 강조하였다.
