스포츠윤리 교육 어떻게 할 것인가? = Study on Sports Ethics Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research has the purpose to explore important tasks in forming environment for sports ethics education. The most important issue at the moment is to form the consensus of sports community on the necessity of sports ethics education. Sports ethics should not be limited as something only to observe, but need be recognized as practical and essential element in ever changing and diversifying real society and sports field. In other words, there should be prevalent concept that sports ethics is an essential element for normal practice of sports. Such concept may need be internally admitted in all the sectors like leaders, umpires, athletes, academic community and education field etc, and that is because social consensus can be formed only when internal reflection and introspection are accomplished. Based on such theoretic background, we pursued solutions for the following four questions by the stages. First, why is sports ethics necessary? Second, who should have sports ethics education? Third, what are the contents of sports ethics education? Fourth, what is the basis of sports ethics education? Based on the results, we proposed that sports ethics education requires theoretic foundation and is necessary as education course. Also, we claimed that sports ethics education should be mandatory and education organization for verification and authorization of sports ethics be installed. After all, the educational function of sports will grow positive when efforts are made to institutionize sports ethics followed by ceaseless emphasis on it through strengthened public relations toward nationals.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 스포츠윤리교육에 대한 여건을 형성하는데 있어서 중요한 과제가 무엇인지를 탐색하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 지금 시점에서 가장 중요한 것은 스포츠윤리 교육이 왜 필요한가에 대한 스포츠계의 공감대의 형성이다. 스포츠윤리는 지켜야할 막연한 대상으로 국한된 것이 아니라 복잡 다변화하는 현실사회와 스포츠현장에서 실천적이고, 필연적인 하나의 구성요소로써 인정받아야 할 것이다. 즉 스포츠가 정상적으로 작동하기 위한 필수요소로의 인식이 확산되어야 할 것이다. 이러한 인식은 내부적으로 지도자, 심판, 선수, 학계, 교육계 등 모든 부분에서 받아들여야 할 것이다. 스스로의 반성과 자기성찰이 선행될 때 사회적인 공감대가 형성될 수 있기 때문이다. 이러한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 다음과 같은 네 가지에 대한 해답을 찾고자 하였다. 첫째, 왜 스포츠 윤리교육이 필요한가? 둘째, 스포츠윤리 교육의 대상은 누구인가? 셋째, 스포츠윤리 교육의 내용은 무엇인가? 넷째, 스포츠윤리 교육의 기반은 무엇인가를 단계적으로 살펴보았다. 이러한 결과 스포츠윤리 교육에 대한 기반에 있어서 무엇보다 이론적 토대가 필요하며, 교육과정으로써의 역할이 필요함을 제시하였다. 또한 스포츠윤리 교육의 의무시행은 물론 스포츠윤리의 검증 및 공인교육기관의 설치를 주장하였다. 결국 스포츠윤리의 제도화를 위한 노력이 선행되어야 함은 물론 대국민 홍보를 강화하여 필요성을 끊임없이 제기될 때 스포츠의 교육적 기능이 긍정적으로 강화될 수 있을 것이다.
