      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      The purpose of this study is to investigate the teaching process inpuiry learng in elementary science education. For the purpose of the effective learning method, taching models of Gleaser, Kaufman,Benathy,Gerach and Ely,Kim,Ho-Kwen and KEDI were examined, besides it was based on the inquiry theory and reaxonable direction of natural inquiry.
      As a result, to show the general model model of inquiry learning as following; 1) Steps in descovering problem 2) Steps in solving and planning problem 3) Steps in practicing 4) Steps in applying and discovering 5) Evaluation, and to show the teaching process in steps in practicing so as to solve the learning tasks as followings;1) Presentation of problem 2) Planning for solving 3) Information gathering 4) Information ganding 5) Hypothesis establishing 6) Verification expreimenting 7) Conclusion and Development. Therefore,it was shown that child's generalization of scientific concepts formation and scientific of gigh level were based on the inquiry learning teaching and the extension of high-degree inquiry ability and learning ability which was applied and used at the same time in different problem scene will be proved by teaching process of inquiry learning. A child has been learned by teaching process of inquiry learning will be able to deeer developmentally the obvious value and scienbtific attitude, direction, sequence, and system of natural phenomena.
