본 연구는 작곡가 바르톡이 루마니아의 각 지방에서부터 채보한 민속음악 <Romanian Folk Dances>를 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 바르톡의 원곡은 piano의 소품곡으로 이루어져 있지만 졸탄 세케이에 의해 Violin and Piano로 편곡된 버전을 분석하였다. 루마니아 5개 지방의 특색있는 요소들을 6개 악장으로 나눴으며, 한 악장마다 민속적 형태, 리듬, 바이올린 주법에 대해 논의했다.
헝가리 대표 작곡가 및 음악학자로 불리는 바르톡의 생애와 헝가리 음악의 선구자였던 그의 친구인 작곡가 코다이의 전승음악을 위한 교육철학을 어떻게 지침하였는지 제시하였다.
루마니아의 민속음악 ‘도이너(Doină)’와 민속 춤 ‘청년의 춤’이 무형문화유산으로 등재되어있다. 특히 루마니아 춤곡의 반주는 주로 민속악기가 사용되었으며 따로 “Nai”, “Stroh violin”, “Contra violin” 관한 조사가 따로 이루어져 있다.
6개의 악장마다 Dorian, Aeolian, Lydian 선법에 의의를 두었으며, 이를 바탕으로 독특한 리듬과 현대작곡기법을 사용하였으며 포르타멘토, 왼손 피치카토, 스피카토, 인위적 하모닉스, 콜레와 같은 바이올린 주법에 대해 중요하게 고찰하였다.

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to explore the folk music <Romanian Folk Dances> collected by composer Bartok from various regions of Romania. Bartok's original composition is composed of piano's minor compositions, but it analyzed the version arranged by Soltan Sekay into Violin and Piano. The characteristic elements of the five Romanian provinces were divided into six musical chapters, and folk forms, rhythms and violin playing were discussed in each movement.
He presented the life of Bartok, a Hungarian composer and musicologist, and how he guided the educational philosophy for traditional music by his friend Kodai, who was a pioneer of Hungarian music.
Romanian folk music "Doină" and folk dance "Jocul Fecioresc din Romănia" are registered as intangible cultural heritage sites. In particular, Romanian dance music is accompanied mainly by folk instruments, and research on "Nai", "Strohviolin" and "ContraViolin" is conducted separately.
Based on the significance of Dorian, Aeolian, and Lydian melodies in each of the six musical chapters, violin playing methods such as portament, left-handed picato, spikato, artificial harmonics, and this are important.
