근대 일본 유학생의 공간 체험과 표상 : 유학생 기행문을 중심으로 Studied Students in Modern Times = A Study on the Spatial Experience and Representation of the Japan

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to explore the appearance of early modern Japan-studied students' spatial experience and representation in their travel writings. This aim attempts to reinterpret the studying abroad in modern times not from ideological/systemic but from private experiential perspective In this perspective, studying abroad serves as a major momentum for subject forming of overseas students, and their subjectivity provide a epistemological foundation for the modern Korean literature.
In tins paper, the overseas students I spatial experience is regarded as an essential motif for modem subject forming. Space creates an universal body which be adapted to a certain space by controling the body The adapted body is a precondition for homogenized recognition. The students' spatial experience progress toward organizing of recognition system required from a certain space At first, the overseas students internalize the body control at the school m which they are learning The internalizing of spatial experience is kept on in the area of private spatial experience, The record of private spatial experience are overseas students I travel writings And we can identify the relationship between the spatial experience and the organizing of modern epistemological system through the spatial representation in their travel writings
