NCS기반 교육과정이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 = Effect of NCS-based Curriculum on Career Preparation Behavior

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 산업사회의 급격한 변화에 따라 미래의 경쟁력을 이끌 수 있는 인재를 양성하기 위해서는 성공적인 직무수행을 위한 능력중심의 고등교육체제로 변화할 필요가 있다. 이에 국가는 국가직무능력표준능력(NCS) 기반 교육과정을 편성하여 운영하고 있는 가운데, NCS기반 교육과정의 실효성을 파악하는 연구가 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 국내 대학교의 미용전공 대학생 350명을 대상으로 NCS기반 교육과정에 따른 자기효능감, 전공만족도, 실무적합도가 진로준비행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하여 NCS기반 교육과정이 미용전공자에게 미치는 실질적인 교육 효과와 진로준비행동에 대한 가치를 제고해 보고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, NCS기반 교육과정에 따라 교육내용, 교육방법의 두 가지 변인으로 구분하였으며, NCS기반 교육과정에서의 교육내용, 교육방법과 자기효능감, 전공만족도, 실무적합도, 진로준비행동 간의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 실무적합도, 전공만족도, 자기효능감 순으로 정의 상관이 높았으며, 진로준비행동은 자기효능감, 전공만족도, 실무적합도, NCS기반 교육과정의 교육방법, 교육내용 순으로 모두 유의미한 정의 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, NCS기반 교육과정이 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, NCS기반 교육과정의 교육내용, 교육방법 순으로 자기효능감에 유의미한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, NCS기반 교육과정이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, NCS기반 교육과정의 교육방법, 교육내용 순으로 전공만족도에 유의미한 영향력 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, NCS기반 교육과정이 실무적합도에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, NCS기반 교육과정의 교육내용, 교육방법 순으로 실무적합도에 유의미한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 자기효능감은 진로준비행동에 유의미한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 전공만족도가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 전공만족도는 진로준비행동에 유의미한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 일곱째, 실무적합도가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 실무적합도는 진로준비행동에 유의미한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, NCS기반 교육과정에 따른 자기효능감, 전공만족도, 실무적합도가 높을수록 진로준비행동 수준이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구는 NCS기반 교육과정에 관한 만족도를 살펴보는 것에서 더 나아가 NCS 적용에 따른 실효성을 검증하고자 학생들의 진로 및 취업을 결정하는데 영향을 주는 요인들 간의 구조적 인과관계를 규명함으로써 NCS기반 교육과정을 통한 자기효능감, 전공만족도, 실무적합도가 미용전공자의 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 분석했다는 점에서 기존 연구와 차별성을 가지고 있다고 여겨진다. 또한 NCS기반 교육과정을 통해 형성된 인식도와 만족도가 높을수록 진로준비행동 수준이 높아지는 것으로 보아 NCS기반 교육과정이 실질적으로 미용전공자의 진로·취업과 관련하여 진로준비행동에 유의한 영향을 준다는 것을 밝혀냈다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

In line with the recent rapid changes in industrial society, it is necessary to change to a higher education system centered on competence for successful job performance in order to nurture talents who can lead the future competitiveness. Accordingly, while the government has organized and operated the National Competency Standards (NCS)-based curriculum, research on the effectiveness of the NCS-based curriculum is insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to enhance the practical educational effect of the NCS-based curriculum on beauty majors and the value of career preparation behavior by analyzing the effects of self-efficacy, major satisfaction, and practical suitability according to the NCS-based curriculum on career preparation behavior for 350 college students majoring in beauty at domestic universities. The results of this study are as follows.
First, according to the NCS-based curriculum, it was divided into two variables: education content and education method, and as a result of examining the correlation between educational content, teaching method and self-efficacy, major satisfaction, practical suitability, and career preparation behavior in the NCS-based curriculum, a positive correlation was high in the order of practical suitability, major satisfaction, and self-efficacy, and career preparation behavior was found to have a significant positive correlation in the order of self-efficacy, major satisfaction, practical suitability, educational method of NCS-based curriculum, and educational content. Second, as a result of analyzing the effect of the NCS-based curriculum on self-efficacy, it was found that the educational content of the NCS-based curriculum had a significant effect on self-efficacy in the order of education content and education method. Third, as a result of analyzing the effect of the NCS-based curriculum on major satisfaction, it was found that it had a significant influence on major satisfaction in the order of the educational method and education content of the NCS-based curriculum. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the effect of the NCS-based curriculum on the practical suitability, it was found that the NCS-based curriculum had a significant effect on the practical suitability in the order of the educational content and education method. Fifth, as a result of analyzing the effect of self-efficacy on career preparation behavior, it was found that self-efficacy had a significant effect on career preparation behavior. Sixth, as a result of analyzing the effect of major satisfaction on career preparation behavior, it was found that major satisfaction had a significant effect on career preparation behavior. Seventh, as a result of analyzing the effect of practical suitability on career preparation behavior, it was found that practical suitability had a significant effect on career preparation behavior. In other words, it was found that the higher the self-efficacy, major satisfaction, and practical suitability according to the NCS-based curriculum, the higher the level of career preparation behavior.
By examing the structural causal relationship between factors affecting students' career and employment decisions to verify the effectiveness of NCS application, this study goes beyond examining the satisfaction with the NCS-based curriculum and is considered to be different from previous studies in that it analyzed the effects of self-efficacy, major satisfaction, and practical suitability on career preparation behaviors of beauty majors. Also, considering that the higher the awareness and satisfaction formed through the NCS-based curriculum, the higher the level of career preparation behavior, it is significant in that it revealed that the NCS-based curriculum has a significant effect on career preparation behaviors in relation to the career and employment of beauty majors.
