지역 사립대학에서의 융합교육 전략과 참여 학생을 대상으로 한 효과성 조사 = Strategies for Convergence Education in Local Private Universities and an Effectiveness Study Based on Student Participation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 D대학에서 2024년부터 시행 중인 ‘마스터키 융합교육’의 효과성을 분석하기 위해 참여 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 마스터키 융합교육은 다양한 전공 탐색 기회를 제공하며, 학생들은 단순한 복수학위 취득이 아니라 타 전공 분야의 심화 학습과 취업 준비 및 진로 설정을 위해 융합교육을 활용하는 경향을 보였다.
설문조사 결과, 학생들은 주로 온라인을 통해 융합교육 정보를 습득하였으며, 융합 교과목 수강 비율은 학년이 높아질수록 증가하는 경향이 확인되었다. 또한, 다양한 전공을 탐색할 수 있는 융합입문 과목에 높은 흥미와 이해도를 보였으며, 특히 취업 준비와 진로 영역 확대에 실질적인 도움을 받았다고 응답하였다. 학생들은 융합교육 활성화를 위해 보다 다양한 융합입문 교과목 개설과 융합모듈의 확대가 필요하다고 지적하였다.
본 연구는 마스터키 융합교육이 지역 사립대학에서의 효과적인 융합교육 모델이 될 가능성을 확인하고, 학생들의 학습 경험 및 수강 동기를 분석함으로써 향후 운영 방향에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the ‘Master-Key Convergence Education’program implemented at D University since 2024. To achieve this, a survey was conducted among participating students. The results indicate that the program provides diverse opportunities for exploring various academic fields. Rather than merely pursuing multiple degrees, students tend to utilize convergence education for in-depth study in other fields, career preparation, and expanding their career prospects.
The survey findings show that students primarily obtain information 19about convergence education through online sources. The proportion of students enrolling in convergence courses increases as their academic year progresses. Additionally, students exhibited a high level of interest and understanding of introductory convergence courses, which allow them to explore various academic fields. Many reported that the program significantly helped them expand their career prospects and prepare for employment. Students also suggested that expanding the number of introductory convergence courses and increasing the availability of convergence modules would further enhance the effectiveness of the program.
This study confirms the potential of the ‘Master-Key Convergence Education’ program as an effective convergence education model for local private universities. By analyzing students' learning experiences and motivations for course enrollment, the study provides insights into future directions for program development.
