    VR 콘텐츠 제작이 전 세계적으로 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. VR이 적용되는 분야가 넓어지고 있지만 크게 게임과 영상, 두 분야로 구분된다.

    다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

    <The Eye of Sound> is a VR cinema produced in 2019. It is a
    work of general VR production process conducted by KAFA. It was
    planned from September and started Pre-production in October, and
    had a total of three shooting sessions(Production) in November. After
    finishing shooting, we had a meeting with the VFX team to carry
    out post-production work. After VFX(rotoscoping work), the first
    batch was completed in early December and was supplemented and
    finally completed at the end of January.
    This film is based on the concept of image embodies the world felt
    by the blind. To clarify this, a lot of data were researched and
    interviewed blind people. In particular, interviews with blind director,
    Noh Dong Joo helped the work a lot.
    The story is about Ji-yoon, who is blind, going to an job interview.
    Plots are simply constructed to show the characteristics of VR
    (Immersion, Presence, Embodiment), and try to make each situation
    realistic.
    There were many scenes where the camera moved from Ji-yoon's
    point of view. For VR, moving the camera can cause motion sickness
    in the viewer. Therefore, the production was performed to prevent
    this. I tried to minimize motion sickness by adjusting acceleration,
    minimizing rotation, and inserting a stationary coordinate system into
    the screen.
    In the visualization part, I decided to transform images to oil
    painting based on various surveys and interviews. The VFX team
    created images through rotoscoping. I made another storyboard for
    rotoscoping.
    Ambisonics sound was used for accurate line of sight. After
    recording with an ambisonics microphone during filming, we reworked
    with Folely sound. The actors' voices were also recorded again in
    the studio(ADR), and foreign language dubbing was also performed.
    Through this work, I was able to understand VR contents and plan
    to make various high-tech media as well as VR.
