Euro-6 regulations introduce stringent Oxides of Nitrogen(NOx) reduction targets for diesel engines. Reduction of NOx by Urea over catalyst has become one of the main solutions. In this study, as a way to increase the NOx reduction rate, mixer was used. There was installing Mixer to agent homogeneous urea distribution in front of the SCR catalyst to improve the Nox reduction rate between the injector and SCR. Mixer lengths, angle and fixing ring of the blade of the impact on NOx reduction rate and NOx distribution at downstream of SCR were analyzed.
