일본 효고교육대학(兵庫教育大学)의 초등교원양성과정과 시사점 = The Suggestions on the Elementary School Teacher Training Program of the Hyogo University of Teacher Education in Japan

국문 초록 (Abstract)

1978년에 설립된 효고교육대학은 일본 교원양성대학에서 선두적인 역할을 하고 있다. 교원양성을 목적으로 하는 효고교육대학은 신규 교사를 양성하고, 석사 및 전 문 학위 과정과 박사과정을 운영하고 있다. 학부, 대학원의 모든 과정에서 효고교육 대학의 교육과 연구는 교원교육의 질을 제고하기 위하여 교육 이론과 실제의 통합과 균형을 지향하고 있다. 전반적인 교원양성교육과정은 학생들이 다양한 학문 분야의 기본 지식과 함께 초등교사로서 필요한 전반적인 능력을 획득할 수 있도록 4년 과정 으로 조직되어 있으며, 학교 현장에서 필요로 하는 실제적인 교육 활동을 강조하고 있다. 대학원 과정에는 3개 전공의 석사학위 과정과 1개 전공의 전문 학위 과정이 있 는데, 대학원 과정은 특히 초중등학교에서 필요로 하는 보다 확장된 능력을 길러주 고 있으며, 현재 많은 교사들이 교육과 관련된 다양한 정보를 교류하고 있다. 이러한 효고교육대학의 초등교원양성과정은 우리나라 초등교원양성체제에 많은 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Hyogo University of Teacher Education, established in 1978, is a front runner in teacher education practice and research in Japan. As a university specializing in teacher education, it develops new teachers, the largest master course and professional school in Japan, and a doctorate course. At every stage of its undergraduate, master s, professional degree, and doctoral programs, education and research at this university is oriented toward integration of theory and practice to enhance teacher education. The overall curriculum is organized and coordinated over 4 years so that students gain the overall ability to serve as elementary school teachers in addition to basic knowledge in a range of disciplines. The Graduate School offers a master s program (3 fields) and a professional degree program (1 field). These programs foster teachers with extensive ability to learn elementary and secondary education in particular, and current teachers from around the country exchange of variety of information regarding education. The elementary school teacher training programs of the Hyogo University of Teacher Education give us some suggestions on related to the system of elementary school teacher training.
