This paper is an empirical study of information security and mobile payment generality effects on mobile shopping. To be specific, this study focuses on quality of perceived security information of the user mobile shopping and mobile payment generality based on mobile shopping intentions. Furthermore, the study extends to find out after mobile shopping usage effects to security information awareness and mobile payment generality awareness and then they have effect on use mobile shopping in the future with several hypothesis. A survey of 105 people have been collected from university students, graduate students and salaried workers. The study also examined quality of perceived security information responses by general background information.
The result shows don’t relative difference on information security by gender, age, academic background and jobs. Unlike other previous researches, this survey result indicated statically that mobile shopping user generally low the quality of information security awareness. A hypothesis is proven that higher quality of information security led to higher mobile shopping intentions. Also, higher mobile payment generality shows higher mobile shopping intentions.
