몽몽의 「요죠오한」 연구 ―장르적 특질을 중심으로 = A Study on Mongmong(夢夢)'s 「Yozoohan」

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The entirety of literary writings is constructed of very variety parts of stratum and it could be changed any amount based on which part is observed. It is also applied to the matter of providing the sub-genre of novel. 「Yozoohan」 is not single-layer but multi-layer. And opened to variety possibility of genre. This paper is the genre investigation of this writing which only had been made reference in fragments.
First, 「Yozoohan」 could be discussed on intellectual novel and city-novel point of view. The main character has not that excellent intelligence as an intellectual. Overall, the main character's intellectual attitude is poor and strange. But this novel can be said to be the intellectual novel from consistent angle that appearance of intellectual character, its own particular problem establishment and complication situations. Intellectual novel is the discussion that comparatively well known, on the other side, city-novel is an another genre side of this novel which is comparatively strange. 「Yozoohan」 is not giving hints widely about characters of modern city through the concrete describe of modern city. But the part that we should focus on is the aspect that time and space are internalized and structuralized of compressed modern system.
Finally, we can read the possibility of model novel through this novel. Model novel reappears characters and affairs in novel and through this, let readers know how the real characters and affairs. But, the clue, reading 「Yozoohan」 as a model novel, is discovered through not rumor or scandal out of the text but in the text. This paper, with several materials, inclined to have an actual proof that characters 'ham' and 'chae' are exactly from writer himself and Choi Nam-sun. In conclusion, the kernel of this research inclined to provide new genre not only suggest the possibility of variety genre approaches.
