개별화교육계획 수립 및 실행에서의 부모 참여에 대한 유아특수교사의 인식 = Perception of Early Childhood Special Educators on Parents’ Par ticipation in the Individualized Education Program Process for their Young Children with Special Needs

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 개별화교육계획 수립 및 실행에서의 부모 참여에 대한 유아특수교사의 인식을 알아보기 위한 연구이다. 본 연구를 위하여 특수교육대상 유아를 교육하는 (유아)특수학교, 공ㆍ사립유치원 특수학급, 어린이집에 근무하는 유아특수교사 7명을 대상으로 질적 면담을 실시하였다. 면담 내용에 대한 분석 결과, 1) 부모의 IEP 이해, 2) IEP 교육 계획 시 부모 참여, 3) IEP 실행 시 부모 참여, 4) 부모 참여에 대한 교사의 만족도와 부모 참여의 어려움의 4개의 주제와 10개의 하위 주제가 도출되었다. 연구 결과에 대한 분석을 토대로 부모 참여를 촉진하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of the early childhood special educators on the parents’ participation of the IEP development and implementation for their young children with special needs. In this research, 7 early childhood special educators from several programs for young children with special needs have been interviewed individually. Analyzing the interview, 4 main themes and 10 sub-themes were derived. The main themes were 1) parents’understanding of IEP, 2) parents’ participation on the process for IEP development, 3) parents’ participation on the process for IEP implementation, 4) satisfaction of the educators on the parents’ participation and the reasons for difficulties of participation. Based upon the results, several suggestions were presented to promote parents’ participation on IEP for their young children with special needs.
