The study was conducted over a period from May 2023 to May 2024, employing a narrative method to reveal the researcher’s life story authentically. The researcher collected data based on the value and meaningful experiences of art therapy about grief through group art therapy, seminars, art therapy classes, and personal artworks. The journey of grief, initiated through drawing, was re-experienced in writing process, leading to transformation into a healthier grieving experience. The researcher’s narrative was structured themes such as “Facing the Pain of Grief.” “Repressed Sadness Becomes Symptoms,” “The Whirlwind of Emotions,” and “Living Again.” Meanings derived from the grieving experience include: first, art itself was a form of grief; second, art served as safe healing; and third, it provided guidance on the path to self-discovery. Based on these findings, the study discussed its significance and limitations.
