This study aimed to develop and validate the Korean Language Enjoyment Scale for Teachers (KLEST) and the Korean Language Anxiety Scale for Teachers (KLAST). Using exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, teacher enjoyment was identified as a multidimensional emotional experience consisting of three factors: personal achievement and fulfillment, enjoyment from interaction, and satisfaction with the institutional and environmental context. Korean language teachers reported relatively high levels of enjoyment in lesson preparation and classroom interaction, while lower levels were observed in relation to institutional support and job security. The developed scales provide reliable tools for systematically assessing Korean language teachers’ emotional experiences. Despite limitations such as a small sample size and the need for independent validation, this study provides practical implications for teacher training, curriculum development, and the promotion of emotional well-being. These findings also contribute to enhancing teacher enjoyment and the sustainability of Korean language education.
