동남아시아 국가들의 경제구조 이질성 및 수렴성 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 동남아 국가들의 경제구조와 교역구조에 있어 차별성이 무엇이고, 그러한 구조가 점차적으로 수렴하고 있는가에 대해 분석한다. 즉 동남아 국가에 있어서 차별성을 경제규모와 성장률, 생산 및 고용구조, 교역구조 측면에서 살펴보고, 이러한 이질적 측면이 동태적으로 어떻게 변화하고 있는지 즉 더 이질적으로 변화고 있는지 아니면 동질적인 방향으로 변화하고 있는지 분석 한다. 유사성지수와 베타 수렴성 검정에 기초한 본 연구의 분석결과에 따르면, 동남아 국가의 경제구조는 다양성 또는 차별성을 보이고 있으나 점차 유사화 또는 수렴되는 추세를 보였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this paper, I try to find differences and similarities among southeast Asian countries in the aspect of economic structure such as economic volume, economic growth, production, employment, and international trade. In addition to highlighting differences in economic structure, I also focus on whether their economic structures are converge to each other over time.
According to analysis based on similarity index and beta-convergence tests, it is found that there is considerable difference in economic structure among southeast Asian countries, but the structures are converging to each other. Especially, there are still considerable differences in economic structure between indochina region(Cambodia, Laos, and Myanma) and ASEAN5(Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Brunei). It is interesting evidence that in economic structure vietnam is converging and similar to the more advanced economies in the region such as Thailand and Indonesia.
