위만의 출신 종족에 대한 재고(再考) = The reconsideration of Wi-Man`s ancestry

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Viewing through the style of character introduce in Biographies(列傳) Shiji(史記), the passage, “Man(滿), the king of Chosun, was Yan(燕) man by nature.” in Traditions of the Chosun(朝鮮列傳) Shiji, meant not that Wi-Man was chinese but Wi-Man was from Yan area, a part of china. There were lived Old-Chosun and many other people as well as chinese at that time. Meanwhile, the fact that Wi-Man had used Chosun his Country name and Wanggum(王儉) his Capital name, shows that he was Old-Chosun ancestry. The word ‘Wanggum’ had stemed from Dangun-Wanggum(檀君王儉), the progenitor of Old-Chosun. The fact that Wi-Man had fled Old-Chosun when Lu-Wan(盧?) had exiled to Xiongnu(匈奴), shows that Wiman was related to Lu-Wan, but their relationship does not show what is ancestry of Wi-Man because that many foreigners had been active in Han(漢) dynasty and several principalities of Han. When Han dynasty established, North-Maek(北?)&Yan cavalry helped Liu-Bang(劉邦), Han Gaozu(高祖). This shows that the Maek people, who related to Old-Chosun, had been lived in Yan.
