디지털기기 역량수준과 온라인 사회참여의 관계: 디지털기기 이용성과의 매개효과 검증 -비장애인과 장애인의 다집단 분석을 중심으로-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 디지털기기 역량수준이 디지털기기 이용성과를 매개로 온라인 사회참여에 미치는 구조적 영향관계에서 비장애인과 장애인 집단에 따라 어떠한 차이가 있는지 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 한국정보화진흥원의 ‘2020 디지털 정보격차 실태조사’ 자료를 활용하였고, 조사에 참여한 일반 국민 7,000명과 장애인 2,200명 중 결측값 984명을 제거한 뒤 최종 8,216명을 분석에 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 디지털기기 역량수준은 온라인 사회참여에 직접효과가 나타났고, 디지털기기 역량수준은 이용성과를 매개로 온라인 사회참여에 간접효과가 확인됐다. 또한, 비장애인과 장애인 집단의 차이는 디지털기기 역량수준과 이용성과의 경로에서만 차이가 나타나 부분적으로 조절효과가 나타났음을 확인했다. 이러한 결과를 통해 장애인의 온라인 사회참여에 있어서 디지털기기 이용성과가 비장애인들에 비해 이들이 살아가는데 중요한 요인임을 확인하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 장애인들의 디지털 역량수준을 높이고 이용 성과를 높여 온라인 사회참여를 활발하게 함으로써 우리 사회의 구성원으로 비장애인과 차별받지 않고 동등하게 살아갈 수 있는 정책적, 실천적 방안을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the differences between the non-disabled and the disabled groups in the structural impact of digital device capability level on online social participation through digital device utilization performance. To this end, data from the “2020 Digital Information Gap Survey” by the Korea Information Society Agency were used, and 984 missing values were removed from 7,000 ordinary citizens and 2,200 disabled people who participated in the survey, and the final 8,216 were used for analysis. As a result of the analysis, the level of digital device capability showed a direct effect on online social participation, and the level of digital device capability was confirmed to have an indirect effect on online social participation through the utilization performance. In addition, it was confirmed that the difference between the non-disabled and the disabled group was only different in the path between digital device capability level and the utilization performance of digital devices, resulting in a partial moderating effect. Through these results, it was confirmed that the utilization performance is an important factor in the participation of the disabled in online society, and based on this, practical and policy measures were proposed to raise the level of digital capabilities of the disabled and promote the utilization performance.
