박태원 소설 연구 = A Study on Park Tea-Won's Novels

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is an attempt to reaearch meaning of Korean Psychological Novel in 1930's
Therefore, we take a focus to draw the fundamental structure in Park's novel.
The result is as follows :
1.Park's psychological novels are discribed the inner mind reacting on the world of the common experiences
and individual subjective idealism. He concentrated his effort on the expression of intellectual's
self-consciousness, and expressed character's secret psychologyl. So he revealed deepening aspects
of characters' conscousness by incessantly reflecting on the internal world of human mind.
2.His narrators and his narrative mode coinced with attention to the meaning of man's inner world.
He pursued not the conventional notion of the novel as a time art but spatial form successive narration
of a story. And he avoied conventional techniques as the embodiment of collective ideologies. His
new attempt in narrative mode broke the conventional novels form and contributed the development
of novels narrative mode.
3.Park refuseed the utilitarian literature and the leaning toward the subjet matter, and emphasized
the autonomy and artisty of literature. He recognized language and practiced various technical experiments
in his writing. He made a contribution to the establishment of the Korean Psychological novel's
by the subtle description of the individual psychology and the continual attempts at new styles.
