맞춤구두를 위한 3차원 발 측정 시스템 = Full Foot Scanning System for Custom Shoes

In this paper we explain how to get parameters that represent a foot and will be used to make a last model of shoes in a full foot scanning system for custom shoes. Custom shoes based on measuring data of foot are inexpensive comfortable and it is making a new business model, which is suitable in Internet shopping. We focused on the software system that gets parameters using in making a last model from a measured data.
The major parts of modeling a foot from the measured data are modeling heel side and making contour curves. We use a general pattern of heel profiles to model heel side because the heel shape does not important to get parameter s but it needs only aesthetic purpose to show. Conceptually contour curves of front part of a foot could be easily obtained from the data but it was hard because the data have lots of noise. The result of modeling a foot is represented in triangular meshes. The configuration of the hardware and some examples are presented in this paper. And a business model of the custom shoes is introduced briefly.
