‘공상의 자각’ 척도의 개발 및 타당화 = Development and Validation of the Awarenessof Imagination Scale

The present study aimed to develop a scale to quantitatively measure the degree of Awareness of Imagination on the mechanism of on-maeum (whole heartedness) by Yun, Hokyun (2001, 2005). The Awareness of Imagination Scale (AIS) consisted of three different factors, namely awareness of separation of the situation from the response to it, awareness of the subjectivity of one's experience, and awareness of owning one's experience. The AIS consisted of 15 items, five items for each factor. The Cronbachalphas were .78 for the AIS, .69 for awareness of separation of the situation from the response to it, .78 for awareness of the subjectivity of one's experience, and .63 for awareness of owning one's experience. To validate the scale, the author examined the correlations between the AIS and the following three established scales: Negative Mood Regulation Scale, Trait Meta-Mood Scale, and Psychological Well-Being Scale. The inter-correlation results were found to be adequate in expected ways.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 윤호균(2005)의 온마음 상담의 주요 상담기제인 ‘공상의 자각’을 양적으로 측정할 수 있는 척도를 개발하고자 이루어졌다. 본 연구에서는 ‘공상의 자각’ 척도를 개발하기 위해서 크게 두 가지 과정, 즉 ‘공상의 자각’ 척도의 개발 과정과 타당화 과정을 거쳤다. 본 연구에서 개발한 ‘공상의 자각’ 척도는 윤호균의 온마음 상담이론에서 밝힌 ‘공상의 자각’ 에 대한 정의를 바탕으로 제작된 척도로써, 세 가지 구성요인으로 이루어져 있고 각 구성요인 당 5문항씩 총 15문항으로 구성되어 있다. 제1요인은 상황과 자기의 반응을 구분하여 지각하는 것(이하 상황과 반응 구분), 제2요인은 자기와 세상에 대한 변별평가는 하나의 구성개념으로 고정불변의 실체가 아님을 알고, 자신에게 자기반응을 선택할 자유가 있음을 자각하는 것(이하 자기반응의 주체성 자각), 제3요인은 자기의 반응이 자신만의 변별평가체계에서 나오는 주관적인 지각임을 자각하는 것(이하 자기반응의 주관성 자각). 본 연구에서 개발된 ‘공상의 자각’ 척도의 내적합치도는 .78이었으며, 구성요인 각각의 내적합치도는 .69, .78, .63 이었다. 또한 세 가지 구성요인 간 상관을 보면, 요인1은 요인2(r=.259, p<.01), 요인3(r=.406, p<.01)과 요인2는 요인3(r=.272, p<.01)과 통계적으로 유의미한 상관을 보였다. ‘공상의 자각’ 척도의 타당화 결과, 전체 ‘공상의 자각’ 척도와 부정적 정서조절척도(NMRS), 특질상위기분척도(TMMS), 심리적안녕감척도(PWBS) 간에 유의미한 정적상관을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발된 ‘공상의 자각’ 척도는 신뢰할만한 타당도를 지닌 것으로 평가되었다. 아울러 본 연구에서 개발한 ‘공상의 자각’ 척도의 활용방안과 연구의 제한점에 대해서 논의하였다.
