    In this study, the landscapes committee’s effective operation is considered in the point of view of role, composition, and design advice and design review system. For this purpose, the regulations are analyzed.
    It reveals that landscape committee was somewhat differently operated according to the conditions of each local government. There are 109 local governments which operate landscape regulations. 80 of them set up landscape committees, and others delegates to Design Council, City Planning Commission Delegation, and the Building Committee.
    Futhermore, some local government include other projects into design review by Landscape committee. But this is also different case by case. On the other hand, lots of local governments held a joint committee to prevent duplicate committee.
    Lastly, the more comprehensive views of the Committee for the efficient operation, the Joint Committee is proposed, and activation of long-term architecture, urban planning, design and configuration of the proposed unified integration committee.
