중학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도와 부모-자녀 간 의사소통 방식이 인터넷 게임중독에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of the Perceived Parental Attitude of Middle School Students and Parent-Child Communication Style on Internet Game Addiction

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 중학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도와 부모-자녀 간 의사소통 방식 및 인터넷 게임중독의 관계를 알아보고자 함이다. 이를 위해 B광역시와 U광역시에 소재한 중학교 1, 2, 3학년에 재학 중인 남녀 학생 369명을 대상으로 주요 변인들 간의 관련성을 살펴보기 위해 상관관계 분석을 실시하였고, 변인들 간의 영향력을 살펴보기 위해 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 부의 양육태도는 부의 의사소통 방식 및 모의 의사소통 방식과 정적 상관관계를 보였고, 인터넷 게임중독과 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 모의 양육태도는 부의 의사소통 방식 및 모의 의사소통 방식과 정적 상관관계를 보였고, 인터넷 게임중독과 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 부의 의사소통 방식과 인터넷 게임중독 및 모의 의사소통 방식과 인터넷 게임중독은 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 부의 양육태도 중 애정과 합리적 양육태도는 부의 의사소통 방식에 대해 통계적으로 유의미하게 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 모의 양육태도 중 애정, 성취, 합리적 양육태도는 모의 의사소통 방식에 대해 통계적으로 유의미하게 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 부모의 양육태도에서 애정 변인이 자녀의 인터넷 게임중독에 통계적으로 유의미하게 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 부모-자녀 간 의사소통 방식 중에서 개방형 의사소통 방식이 인터넷 게임중독에 통계적으로 유의미하게 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 중학생들의 인터넷 게임중독의 예방적 접근방향을 찾고, 치료적 개입이 필요한 중학생들에게는 부모의 양육태도와 부모-자녀 간 의사소통 방식의 관계를 통한 인터넷 게임중독 치료프로그램을 마련하는데 근거를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among perceived parental attitude of middle school students, communication style and internet game addiction. In order to verify the purpose of this study, the tests about parent-child communication style, parental attitude and internet game addiction were carried out all 369 students from 1 to 3 grade of Middle school located in B metropolitan city and U metropolitan city. To examine the relationship between the main variables, correlation analysis carried out and multiple regression analysis was used to find out the influence between the variables influences. The results of this study are as follows. First, love and rational rearing attitudes among father`s caring attitude affected father`s communication statistically. In case of mother is love, achievement and rational rearing attitudes affected mother`s communication statistically significant influence on the static. Second, It is shown a factor of love in parental rearing attitude affected internet game addiction. Third, the relationship between opened communication style which is one of communication style and internet game addiction is shown direct and negative statistically. The results of this study indicated love of parents, achievement and rational rearing attitudes gave effects of positive, strong and meaningful. And rational rearing attitudes and communication style affected bad effects into internet game addiction in the light of relationship among perceived parental attitude of middle school students, communication style and internet game addiction. Therefore, it needs to consider and keep the factors of communication style and parental attitude for developing program about the internet game addiction and prevention and treatment of middle school students. In this study, it was examined family factors of parental attitude and communication style which gives affection on internet game addiction of middle school students. Suggestion for further studies, it needs to examine about personal factors and school environment. Also it has got to increase the validity of the results by using behavior observation or clinical interview in a follow-up study.
