인터넷 규제의 정치: 내용규제 레짐의 고찰을 중심으로 = The Politics of Internet Regulation: Focusing on the Contents Regulation Regime

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper intends to analyze characteristics of Internet contents regulatory regime. We understanding contents regulation as political phenomenon, Internet regulatory regime means institutional distribution arrangement of information empowerment. Therefore regulatory regime mediated interaction of interested parties. In other words, the conflicts of information ownership and control form cleavage structure of information society as like `contents regulation v. free speech`, `intellectual property v. information sharing`, `surveillance v. privacy`. These collection of anti-theses imply various interests and conflict to strengthen information empowerment. Especially It is worthy of notice that contrastive types of regulatory regime appears according to each state`s policy and intervention. This paper intends to characteristics and implications of government-led regulatory regime, focusing on the korean examples.
