The mobile easy payment service market in Korea began to enter the market through financial reform and improvement of the system since 2014, and the use of the mobile easy payment service has been rapidly increasing as a substitute for the existing payment method due to its easy-to-use characteristics anytime, anywhere.
Various factors and activation plans that affect Fintech and mobile payment services were introduced in the preceding paper, however, previous paper lacks research on mobile easy payment services in a way that has been rapidly expanding in recent years and there has been no study on the overall service characteristics that affect the use of mobile easy payment services.
Therefore, in this paper, I conducted literature research and surveys to analyze the status and characteristics of the major mobile easy payment services which has been widely used in Korea and ZEROpay service which has recently been launched the service and also analyzed the overseas cases of successful mobile easy payment services. Based on this, I have summarized the service characteristics elements needed to provide mobile easy payment services and have identified problems for mobile easy payment services in Korea.
As a way to improve problems regarding high fee burden of mobile easy payment services and passive service type identified through literature research and survey, presents an integrated peer-to-peer payment service model in a way that simplifies the service structure and can provide consumer-tailored services. In addition, as a way to improve the problem of non spreading government-led ZEROpay service due to lack of convenience, extensive use and benefits, presents a peer-to-peer ZEROpay dedicated service model that resolve consumer inconvenience and improve consumer benefits.
The service model presented in this paper is assessed as the achievement of this study, which can contribute to improving consumer satisfaction and spreading services by applying it to offline payments in various environments.
