      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

I examined the textbooks of Korean History being available in the Middle and High school by focusing on the economic policy during the King Gwang’hea-gun’s reign, especially Daedong System(大同法) and YangJeon(量田). After the hard hit of the Japanese Invasion(壬辰倭亂) of 1592, the people and the court confronted to the severe living and financial condition and they tried to reform the government tax system that influenced the livelihood and welfare of people(民生).
Since the seventh curriculum was enforced, the Daedong System and YangJeon was dealt with the representative policy that guaranteed the stability of the people's reproduction and the expansion of the finance. However that was not the truth. The description of the textbook was based on the inadequate or distorted use of the sources, and the misunderstanding of the sources leaded to the reverse interpretation of the situation such as regarding the Injo-Reformation(仁祖反正) as the coup.
The textbooks of the Daehan Imperial age described ‘immoral rule’ of the King Gwang’hea-gun. So the Japanese colonialists did, and added the factional-factor(黨派性) and the heteronomy(他律性) to the Joseon under control. After the Liberation, there was some change emphasizing the economic policy. The third curriculum suggested the positive aspects of the economic policy of the King Kwanghea’s regime, and that is the same till now.
However YangJeon was not carrying out. The sum of cultivated land shows the evidence. The Daedong System just carried out, but it was interrupted by the powers who seized the rights of the payment of proxy(防納). Furthermore the palaces construction that had persisted for the King Gwang’hea-gun’s reign made the tax system, so to speak the tribute(貢納), worse. And that was the one of the main reasons of the Injo-Reformation.
