The purpose of this study is to examine theoretical features like structure and development of brain to establish direction of brain-based science such as learning environment and teaching-learning methods and to seek ways of design and application of brain-based science. The results of this study were as follows: First. teaching methods that were available for right-brained and left-brained teacher based on structure features of right and left brain and specific learning that would work for right-brained and left-brained students were created. Second, this study prepared the ground for brain-based science class design through five steps, which were analysis of learning environment of brain-based science, brian-based unit goal setting, selection and organizing brain-based contents. brian-based teaching-learning strategy and establishment of brain-based unit assessment plan. Third, by designing customized class suitable for brain characteristic, well balanced brain-based class could be possible not one-sided brain-based class. However, follow-up studies would be necessary for more effective brain-based classes considering various variable such as teachers`` background, nature of curriculum, students`` individual characteristic. etc.
