  Men"s desire of self-protection and decoration has ceaselessly changed and developed to become an important means of self-expression today. Body painting is a new form of art that expands the range of aesthetical expression from face to body. It also tends to become popular and develops into more various forms and works.<BR>  Body painting is different from the plane picture on a canvas. It is a unique genre of art in that the object of painting is the three-dimensional body with curve, surface and bone structure etc.. There are various techniques and modes in the expression of body painting. This study treats the air brush technique that is characterized by the best feeling of gradation. It is expected that the use of air brush will be more popular and of help to the study of body painting.
