중년 건너기로 본 『케냐의 장미』론 = A Survey on the Works in < The Rose of Kenya >

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 한영수의 시집 『케냐의 장미』를 `중년 건너기`의 관점에서 분석하면서 그 시적인 성과를 정리한 것이다. 위기의 시기이기도 한 중년 건너기의 과제는 이 주부시인의 주제적 관심의 하나로서, 대체로 두 가지의 큰 가닥으로 정리해 볼 수 있었다. 첫째는 현실의 장벽이나 감정의 파고를 넘어서기 위한 `거리두기`의 방식이 그 하나이고, 둘째는 생태 위기 속의 생명들과 가혹한 현실 조건 속의 여성이나 사회적 약자와의 연대를 모색하는 모성적인 `감싸안기`의 방식이 다른 하나였다. 처녀시집임에도 이 시집의 문학적 성취는 탁월하다. 무엇보다도 생활의 실감에 견실하게 뿌리박고 있는 체험서정의 양상이 돋보이고, 탁월한 언어 감각을 기반으로 하는 형상화의 수준 또한 범상하지 않다. 앞으로의 발전이 기대되는 시인이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this paper is to survey the works in < The Rose of Kenya >. We analyse the phase of this collections from the point of view of `crossing the middle-aged`. To cross and to overcome the middle-aged, The poetess attempts to open two ways. One is `making distance`, the other is `motherhood hugging`. In front of the heights of the barriers of reality and the waves of overwhelming emotions, she attempts `making distance`. In front of the ecological crisis and the socio-economical conditions in the harsh reality, she attempts motherhood hugging`. When she meets the plant, or the flower, or the fruit in the urban area, she finds the leaping joy and encourages them. When she meets the women or laborer in the harsh reality, she joins with them in heart. Though this collections are virgin publishing, its literary achievement is excellent. Above all, the reality of emotions solidly rooted in the experience real life is outstanding. And the level of poetics is also prominent. The future development of this poetess is greatly expected.
