부산지역 신성장산업의 특화와 다양성 및 고급화 지수 분석 : 전략산업을 중심으로 = Specialization, Variety and Up-Scale of New Growing Industries in Busan : Focusing on the Strategic Industries

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper analyzes the competitive power of 5 strategic industries and 18 promising sub-industry fields in Busan using the recent 2007-2016 statistical industry data. To do this, this paper adopted several analytical tools such as entrophy index, national average index, the up-scale indices such as prody index and expy index as well as the loquation quotient.
Busan’s strategic industries have comparative advantages in marine plant, green vessel industry, marine fishery foods industries. Among sub-industries, there seem to be specialization advantages in machinery and aircraft, footware and textile, design fashion, medical service, finance and banking and logistic industry fields.
According to the entrophy index, Busan’s industries seem to have increasing varieties during 2007-2012 but have decreasing varieties and increasing specialization after 2007. National average indices decreased since 2012, so that the heterogeneity and difference had increased in 18 promising sub-industry fields since 2012, but national average indices had decreased since 2014. The up-scale indices such as prody index and expy index show that the prody indices of 18 promising sub-industry fields in Busan have incresed during 2007-2016, and expy indeices 18 promising sub-industry fields had increasing trend except marine pland, green vessel, automobile, anti-aging, old-age friendly machine industries.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2014년 선정된 부산의 5대 전략산업과 18개 유망분야에 대한 현황과 그 경쟁력을 산업의 지역특화도, 국가평균지수와 다양성지수, 상품공간모형에 의한 고급화지수 등을 통해 분석하였다. 부산의 전략산업들 중 해양산업의 해양플랜트, 그린선박, 해양수산식품산업 등에서 특화우위가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 전략유망산업 가운데서는 기계와 항공, 디자인패션, 의료서비스, 금융과 물류 산업 등에서 입지계수가 1보다 조금 높게 나타났다. 부산지역 18개 유망분야의 절대적 다양성을 엔트로피지수로 볼 때, 전략산업들이 대체로 2007년부터 2012년까지 다양성이 조금 증가하였다가 그 후 다양성이 조금씩 감소하여 특화도가 높아져 가고 있다. 국가평균지수에 의해 전략산업 다양성을 보면, 2012년부터 감소하여 부산의 18개 유망분야는 전국의 산업구조와 비교했을 때 이질성과 차이성은 낮아지고 다양성은 높아졌고 2014년에는 다양성은 줄고 특화도는 더 높아졌다. 부산지역 18개 유망분야의 고급화지수인 Aprody지수는 2007년 이래 2016년까지 대체로 조금씩 증가하는 추세를 보이고 고급화되어 가고 있다. 18개 유망분야의 AEXPY지수는 2007년 이래 2016년까지 해양플랜트와 그린선박, 자동차, 항노화, 고령친화기기 등을 제외하고는 조금씩 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있다. 그리하여 향후 부산의 전략산업들은 이러한 것들을 종합적으로 고려하여 설정해야 할 것이다.
