Miss Korea, the beginning of Miss Korea Contest in 1957, is of great significance to improving within social, cultural, beauty cosmetology as the most representative official beauty in the same age for immense effect on national interest. In special, they get a lot of attention to the public m in fields of fashion and beauty and among them, make-up is worth while studying to decide impression of beauty and significantly affected prize-giving in the contest. Miss Korea, the beginning of Miss Korea Contest in 1957, is of great significance to improving within social, cultural, beauty cosmetology as the most representative official beauty in the same age for immense effect on national interest. In special, they get a lot of attention to the public m in fields of fashion and beauty and among them, make-up is worth while studying to decide impression of beauty and significantly affected prize-giving in the contest. For this reason, the author will be examined the feature of beauty in Miss Korea and especially, aimed to know the relation between fashionable trend of make-up in the age and make-up of Miss Korea through character of make-up in the trend of the times and feature of make-up in Miss Korea. The method of research, depending on documents of material, is particularly made a collection of photographic documents in the feature of Miss Korea`s make-up. In view of the results so far achieved in the outcome of this analysis, make-up of Miss Korea from1970 to 1980 has definitely made its mark on many general women and Rather, Miss Korea is affected in the fashionable trend of the times from middle or end of 1990 to the 2000s. This research has difficulty to be over interpretation to the public as study of features of make-up in Miss Korea`s Contest. and reaches limitation the difference of image in practical make-up because of the analysis of passing visual image.
