가해자와 피해자의 이분법을 넘어서기 - 불교철학에 의한 해체론적 접근 = Beyond dichotomy of victim and oppressor - From a Buddhist deconstructive perspective

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Dualistic way of thinking is erronous because of its process of objectification and reification not only on the victim but also on the oppressor. Buddhist philosophy may suggest a paradigm which can resolve the problem of dichotomy in modernity. The buddhist concept of Emptiness can be explained by the law of co-dependent arising. From the teachings of Madhyamaka-Sa⃐stra we can conclude that two items which are co-dependent can not exist each one as a substance.
From that deconstructive perspective, the dichotomy of the victim and oppressor is the result of substantializing the cause of suffering as 'oppression'. But from the point of view of Karmas, cause and effect are mutually dependent, so Karma is not an entity. And it is not until we understand the causes of suffering as something that is not an entity that we will finally be able to be free from it and choose new actions. The performance/discipline of the mind, which means the re-signification of the Signified may lead the victim-subject to more liberating practices.
