      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      Theoretical revise to information education in the Information Age s tarts with understanding of ``the current age`` which defines and directs the information education. Particularly, to form and confirm the goals, directions, conternts, and methods of information education, should be in detail examined, on one hand, the features of Postmodernism and informatization, representing social and cultural theories, and on the other hand, constructivism and information technology theories, taking charge of educational and technological theories, respectively, of the information society. Intended in this paper is to prevent the information education from being technology- driven in a restricted sense, and instead, to foreground the values and concepts of postmodernism and informatization as the theoretical fundamentals for the information education in a more active and broad sense. For education, ultimately, regardless its goals, characteristics, and methods, is supposed to practice and enhance`` communication`` and `` interaction`` among the participants.
